Her journey began at the esteemed Law Firm of D. D. Dodo & Co in Abuja, Nigeria, immediately after her enrolment as a Solicitor and Advocate at the Supreme Court in January 2001. Rising through the ranks, she eventually became the Deputy Head of Chambers before embarking on her current endeavor as the Principal Counsel and Head of Practice at Abhulimen & Co (Aizehi Chambers).
Paulyn's academic foundation was established at Edo State University, Ekpoma, where she earned her LL.B Honours degree in 1999. Her pursuit of knowledge extended beyond the borders as she acquired Certificates in Forensic Accounting and Fraud Examination from West Virginia University, Innovation for Entrepreneurs-From Idea to Marketplace from the University of Maryland, and Analyzing Global Trends for Business and Society from Wharton University of Pennsylvania in the United States of America.
Diverse and accomplished, Paulyn holds the esteemed title of Notary Public of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and is a proud member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London. Her legal interests span a wide spectrum, encompassing Commercial Litigation, Consultancy Services, Arbitration, Election Petitions, Debt Recovery, negotiation, and the drafting of legal documentation. Additionally, she is well-versed in Telecommunications Law & Practice, Civil Law, Contract, Commercial/Business Law, Banking/Finance, Due Diligence in Capital Markets, Foreign Investments, Labour, Government Relations, and International Laws. Her expertise extends to areas such as Merger & Acquisition, Oil & Gas Law, and Liquidation.
An active contributor to legal communities, Paulyn is a dedicated member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and the International Bar Association (IBA). She plays pivotal roles within the NBA's Legal Practice, Business Law, and Stabilization Committees, as well as the IBA's Business Law and Legal Practice Division. As a founding member of multiple organizations, including the Nigerian Association of Notaries and the Class of 2001 Nigerian Law School Bwari, she serves as Vice President and a member of the Board of Trustees for each.
Paulyn's passion for education and advocacy is evident in her role as Alternate Chair of the Continued Legal Education Committee of the NBA Unity Branch, Abuja. She is also the Alternative Chair of the Nigerian Bar Association Stabilization Committee and Secretary of the Local Organizing Committee of the 2023 NBA Annual General Conference. Her dedication to professional development is exemplified through her participation in various seminars and workshops, both domestically and internationally, covering topics ranging from ADR to Securities issues in Mergers and Acquisition and Telecommunications.

She was part of the committee that reviewed the High Court Civil Procedures Rules of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, in 2004.
